OVERVIEW

About the role

ThoughtLeaders is looking for a highly confident and intelligent Business Development manager who is a master of words and knows how to close deals with International Clients. We are looking for self starters who thrive in dynamic environments and are hungry to hit targets .


You will be responsible for the development of new business for ThoughtLeaders suite of operational tools for sponsorship professionals. The creator sponsorship industry is heavily reliant on manual tracking of every stage of the deal process. With ThoughtLeaders technology both buyers and sellers can track the statuses of their deals to radically reduce operational overhead and ensure that sponsorship $ are not wasted. ThoughtLeaders has been operating in the sponsorship space since 2017 and has built up a strong network of clients for our media and technology business lines. The Account Executive will be able to leverage this network as a lead base for (TBN).


This role is perfect for a SAAS sales professional who loves data and has a self-sufficient approach to generating business. Working in conjunction with customer success the Business development Manager will be at the forefront of growing this business line.

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to the leads already in the TL CRM to book meetings and develop pipeline.
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline
  • Use creative communications designed to increase customer interest in the company’s products
  • Creatively identify each customer needs
  • Pitch the solution to all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage inbound leads - understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Create relevant collaterals about the product based on value-proposition and industry needs
  • Work and maintain a database of current and potential customers to build long term relationships


Requirements

  • 2-4 years of selling SAAS products
  • Experience in navigating through organizations, doing deep discovery and speaking to multiple decision makers
  • Excellent knowledge of sales development, lead generation practices, and all of its main principles
  • Ability to multitask between business development related tasks and Sales cycles with a variety of customers
  • Creative with sales pitches and extremely adaptable
  • Excellent skills in closing deals and managing complex negotiations
  • High level of English
  • Thrives under pressure
  • Go-Getter,self-directed and resourceful with a strong work ethic
  • Experience selling to marketers -advantage
